I founded Airfin Analytics in 2024 with a simple mission: to improve how real estate valuation data is analyzed, visualized, and interpreted. Mass appraisal is an inherently complex subject. When I first experienced the power and speed of interactive data visualization, it became clear that simple spreadsheets could be transformed into entirely new data ecosystems. Utilizing interactive data visualization tools, I began building report environments to better serve the day-to-day needs of the municipal assessor's office.
As my work progressed, it became evident that my interactive data analytics knowledge could be shared with colleagues and coworkers to enhance data analysis and interpretation for their work, for their clients, and for property owners.
Today, Airfin Analytics collaborates with both public-sector entities and private firms, applying modern business intelligence approaches to bring greater clarity, efficiency, and understanding to real estate valuation analysis.
Doug Irvine

Doug is a Certified New Hampshire Assessor and Assessor Supervisor. He currently works as Chief Assessor for the Town of Bedford NH.
Doug is an active member of the New Hampshire Association of Assessing Officials, serving on the Executive Board of Directors as current Past President. He also serves as Chair of NHAAO Communications Committee, overseeing the organization’s website operation and development.
His work in the assessing industry has been recognized with awards from the NHAAO and the NRAAO (Northeast Regional Association of Assessing Officers).
Like many assessors, Doug’s formal education is not directly associated with the assessing profession. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he graduated with fellowship honors. His creative work has been recognized with artist fellowships from the Illinois Arts Council and the New Hampshire Council on the Arts, focused on music composition, production, and musical instrument making. Doug has lectured and performed for museums in the US and Canada including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and the Glenbow Art Museum, Calgary, Canada.
Doug’s background in music and design informs his creative approach to developing innovative data tools for municipalities and assessors through his consulting company, Airfin Analytics, LLC.
